This time, the hunter becomes the hunted – Srikant is on the run with his family, labeled a traitor, chased by his own agency TASC, and targeted by ruthless new antagonists played by Jaideep Ahlawat (Rukma) and Nimrat Kaur (Meera). If you loved the blend of high-octane espionage, family chaos, and that signature dark humor in the first two seasons, buckle up – Season 3 delivers... mostly.The Plot: Higher Stakes, Personal ThreatsWithout spoiling too much (binge responsibly!), Season 3 picks up with Srikant's double life exploding in his face. His kids now know about his secret job, his marriage with Suchi (Priyamani) is more fractured than ever, and a massive conspiracy tied to Northeast India's geopolitics threatens not just the nation, but his family's safety directly. The action shifts to the stunning, rain-soaked hills of the Northeast, adding a fresh, grounded visual flavor. There's insurgency, international power plays, and moral gray areas that feel ripped from real-world headlines – all handled with Raj & DK's trademark subtlety, never preachy.The seven episodes fly by with intense chases, betrayals, and those quiet emotional moments that made us fall in love with the show. Sharib Hashmi as JK Talpade remains the comic relief king, providing laugh-out-loud one-liners amid the tension. And yes, there are some epic cameos (hello, Chellam Sir and a surprise from the Raj & DK universe!) that had me cheering.Performances: Manoj and Jaideep Steal the ShowManoj Bajpayee is, as always, phenomenal. Srikant feels more vulnerable here – haunted by guilt, torn between duty and family. His subtle expressions carry entire scenes. Jaideep Ahlawat as the menacing Rukma is a perfect foil: cold, calculated, and utterly chilling. Their face-offs are electric! Priyamani shines in the emotional family arcs, and the kids (Ashlesha Thakur and Vedant Sinha) get more meaty roles this time.Nimrat Kaur brings elegance and menace, while the supporting cast (Gul Panag, Vipin Sharma, etc.) holds strong.What Works Brilliantly

• The Balance: That magic mix of spy thriller and family drama is intact. Heart-pounding action sequences + relatable middle-class struggles = pure gold.
• Writing & Direction: Raj & DK, along with Suman Kumar, weave in sociopolitical layers (Northeast conflicts, economic vulnerabilities) without losing the entertainment quotient. The dark humor lands perfectly.
• Music & Cinematography: The Nagamese title track variation is haunting, and the Northeast locations are breathtakingly shot.
• Pacing in the Second Half: It builds to a gripping climax with twists that left me gasping.

What Falls a Bit ShortIt's not perfect. The first couple of episodes take time to rev up – a slower burn compared to Season 2's explosive start. Some plot threads to feel a tad predictable or stretched (only 7 episodes, yet a few mid-season moments drag). And while the villains are strong, they don't quite reach the iconic intensity of Samantha's Raji from Season 2. It ends on a massive cliffhanger, screaming for Season 4!Verdict: 4/5 Stars
